The way i attracted my audience is by at first survey people to see who would be interested in the website and what they wanted. Once the results where collected we could cater for the selected audience by creating the website in the way they wanted. The results showed that the most likely person to read our website is a young adult.

At first we created the home page, this was created to our own design at first but once we got the results we adjusted accordingly, the first thing i changed was the font of the text as i felt it was inappropriate for the selected audience, then i changed the photos to something more dramatic and attractive that will draw people in and want to read more. i also added links to other places on the site to allow easy access to all areas of my site, this more make it more convenient for the young adult to navigate through our site.

I also added a news and current affairs page, this incorporates up to date news for most major conflicts that the British Army is involved in at the moment, I added this as most young adults have become more interested in the Armies activities in Iraq and Afghanistan, the page has go links to the BBC website if they want to read more into a story.

The next page that i added was the "what we do page" Which shows the audience what people do to raise money for the charity, on the page is one of my friends that skydived to raise money for the charity, this will inspire the young adult to do some different to raise money any way the can.

Then last page that was created was a media page which has got photos and videos, of the problems faced by the conflicts faced by soldiers and it also has photos of the soldiers recovery in the designated rehabilitation centers across Britain, this will show the audience what our website does by the donations that they give, which will hopefully persuade them to donate generously.

Overall i think that my website is effective in how it attracts people into donating which is the purpose of my webpages.
